How long is the procedure and is it painful?
Your transplant is a single-day procedure, typically taking around 7 hours from start to finish, including a private 30-minute lunch break.
The procedure itself is pain-free. However, similar to a dental visit, there may be brief discomfort (around 30 seconds) when the local anaesthetic is administered.
What is FUE and why does surgeon experience matter?
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) involves harvesting and implanting individual follicular units with precise angle, depth and density control.
Small errors in placement or depth create visible differences in growth and naturalness. Plastic surgeons are trained in tissue handling, wound healing and fine motor precision developed over years of complex surgical work.
Experience matters because hair transplantation is microsurgery — not a cosmetic service.
